day two

finally got the thing changing randomly, actually this was far easier than yesterdays project, and it is now looks like i can add some colour. i've got some code that does this, randomly changing colour by selecting a new colour and changing the old colour to this in a number of steps. nothing very novel in this but what is useful is that i've made it so that i just need to add one line of code to make each different element run.

you may be wondering why the image on the left. well maree (my wife) and i finished a couple of paintings this week and i got the slides back today. it is based on some of my flash drawings and i thought you'd like to see one. i do still work with meat world materials and i feel this gives another input into what i do digitally.

there are now two buttons in the movie below. i feel rather ambiguously about the value of this inter activity thing. kind of like in the real world you often get presented with a lot of choices but this frequently disguises a lack of real options. maybe i'd hope people would come up with this dilema as they clicked the buttons.
